Digirig Mobile cables for Baofeng HTs — data & programming

Digirig Mobile cables are purpose-built K1 (3.5mm/2.5mm TRS) audio and programming leads that connect Baofeng and many other HTs to a Digirig Mobile interface for digital modes and radio programming.

These two coiled cables — a black data lead for digital audio + PTT and a green Chirp programming lead for serial control — let you run packet, Winlink, VaraFM, FT8, SSTV, APRS and other modes from a Digirig Mobile (revision 1.6 or later). Shielding, RF chokes and quality terminations minimize interference while the spring-coiled design keeps the cabling compact when stowed and long when needed.

How do the two cables differ and which one do I need?
