Overview

The Skar Audio SK2X12V is built to balance premium construction with universal compatibility. This dual 12-inch, ported enclosure emphasizes bass response, durability, and easy installation. Finished in a sleek black carpet and branded with the Skar Audio logo, it delivers a refined look for vehicles that crave ground-shaking performance without custom fabrication.

What makes it stand out

The enclosure features a kerf (rounded) port design, a trait typically found in high-end, professional boxes. This design aims to deliver deeper, more precise bass with a responsive feel. Internally, multiple walls are lined with poly-fill to enrich depth and versatility when paired with a range of 12-inch subwoofers. The cabinet is braced for rigidity, helping it stand up to powerful bass demands while maintaining accuracy across the frequency range.

Practical build details contribute to a smoother install. Premium push terminals with internal speaker wire leads are pre-installed and ready for wiring, reducing setup time and clutter. The box is tuned to 32 Hz and holds 4.00 ft³ of internal air space, providing a balance of low-end extension and controlled peak response. The rugged carpeted exterior, reinforced bracing, and solid internal finish work together to minimize unwanted vibrations and edge out competing designs.
