Introducing the Skar Audio SK1X12V 12-inch Universal Fit Ported Enclosure

Engineered to bridge competition-grade quality with a universal fit, the SK1X12V delivers a deep, responsive bass foundation. With a total internal air space of 2.0 ft3 and a tuning of 36 Hz, this enclosure aims to provide a robust low end that can be heard from outside the vehicle.

Kerf Port Design for Deep, Accurate Bass

The kerf-style port uses curved walls typically found in high-end, custom enclosures, enabling deeper and more controlled bass response. This design helps the box respond quickly to musical transients and deliver a punchy feel without overwhelming resonance.

  • Universal Fit - Single chamber 12-inch ported enclosure
  • Competition-grade performance engineered to sound incredible
  • Kerf port design for deep, accurate, and responsive bass
  • Internal air space 2.0 ft3 | tuned at 36 Hz

Durability and Real-World Use

Built to stand up to demanding subs, the enclosure is braced for strength and lined with poly-fill to subtly enhance depth and tonal balance. A premium black carpet finish with the Skar logo adds a clean, stylish touch in any installation.

In practice, you might pair this box with a suitable 12-inch sub for street-friendly bass, daily driving, or weekend car shows. While results vary by system and vehicle, the SK1X12V is designed to deliver an engaging low end with crisp, controlled articulation.
