Key design features

  • Dual 8-inch universal-fit armored enclosure tailored for ported bass
  • Gross internal air space: 1.80 ft³; tuned to 42 Hz for a deep, musical low end
  • Kerf port design, 1.60 inches wide, engineered for efficient airflow and lower port noise
  • Durable bed-liner finish blends rugged protection with a refined look
  • Cut-out diameter: 7.25 inches; mounting depth: 11.125 inches

What this enclosure can do for you

Designed for bold, controlled bass, the AR2X8V aims to balance high output with maintainable sound quality. The kerf port helps optimize air movement, while the armor coating protects the enclosure during daily use and while traveling with gear in the trunk. This combination supports a space-efficient setup without sacrificing low-frequency extension.

Real-world use cases

  • Ideal for vehicles with limited space where a dual 8-inch setup fits behind seats or in the cargo area
  • Great for road trips, daily commutes, or weekend sessions where durable construction and strong bass matter

Installation notes and compatibility

Before mounting, verify the 7.25-inch cut-out, 11.125-inch mounting depth, and 1.80 ft³ gross internal space. For best results, pair with a compatible amplifier and a suitable subwoofer to match your preferred bass response.
