The device automatically adapts to two usage scenarios: HDMI 2.0 mode for 4K@60Hz, and HDMI 1.3 mode for 1080p@60Hz. This flexibility makes it suitable for a variety of living rooms, home theaters, or gaming setups where distance and resolution requirements vary.

If the signal is weak or there is no display output, adding power can help maintain quality—especially with power-hungry devices. For best 4K@60Hz results, place the booster closer to the display and verify that all HDMI cables and sources also support 4K@60Hz.
