Two power options for flexible listening

Power choice matters when you’re moving between rooms or venturing away from a wall outlet. The J-136 supports AC plug power for indoors use and two D cell batteries for on-the-go enjoyment. The intuitive control layout centers on a large tuning knob, offering a nostalgic, straightforward experience that’s easy for listeners of all ages to operate. This simplicity is paired with a broad AM/FM reach, so you can explore a variety of stations with minimal fuss.

AM/FM bands and reception you can feel

The radio covers FM 87.5–108 MHz and AM 520–1710 kHz, giving you a broad landscape of local and distant broadcasts. A long 22-inch retractable telescopic antenna enhances signal clarity in many environments, helping you enjoy clearer audio where signal quality matters most.
