Inside, the two HDMI outputs share the display load: two monitors can run up to 1920x1200 at 60 Hz, or you can drive a single HDMI display up to 2560x1440 at 50 Hz. While 4K output isn’t supported on this model, the extra pixels and sharper text can make documents and spreadsheets easier to read.

Compatibility and setup are straightforward, with a few caveats to note. On Windows, drivers typically install via Windows Update. macOS users on 10.14 or later will need the DisplayLink driver (instructions included). ChromeOS 100 or newer works without extra software. Linux/Unix environments are not supported, and certain non-DisplayLink adapters or some HDCP-protected content may not function as expected. The dock does not charge the host laptop, so you’ll continue to use your laptop’s charger as needed.
