The PEMP 8.8-inch Linux screen expands the cockpit with a responsive, touch friendly display. Built to fit BMW E60 and E90 CCC systems, it offers a fresh CarPlay and Android Auto interface while preserving essential OEM information display features for a cohesive, modern driving experience.

Everyday usability

With a multi point capacitive touch screen and an 8.8 inch IPS panel, colors feel vibrant and text remains legible when you glance at maps, music, or messages. The 1280 by 480 resolution delivers a wide, clear view that avoids clutter on busy screens.

  • Fast interface: CarPlay or Android Auto appears quickly, reducing screen glare and enabling smooth hands‑free control.
  • 2 seconds reverse camera: a reverse image appears promptly for safer maneuvering.
  • Wired or wireless CarPlay/Android Auto: choose a connection style that fits your setup and preferences.
  • OEM info display: long press Menu to switch between the factory interface and CarPlay, with steering wheel button support.

Kit contents and considerations

The package includes a 720P AHD rear camera that delivers clear reversing images and can display radar information alongside the car’s original data. The system supports the car’s reversing camera input and radar data display for a cohesive view of your surroundings.

  • Seamless OEM integration: the unit can mirror OEM information while offering CarPlay when needed.
  • Touch plus control: steering wheel button support enables safer, hands free operation in many situations.
  • Limitations: offline video up to 720P; does not support 4G or GPS; no app installation.

Activation notes and tips

[VERY IMPORTANT] Please check your OEM display has the Aux Audio Menu. If not, purchase the Activator (ASIN B08XXF2T5Q) to enable Aux Audio first. Also consider your vehicle’s setup and installation steps to ensure a smooth upgrade that fits your daily driving needs.
