Upgrade your BMW cockpit with a modern head unit

The PEMP 10.25-inch Linux head unit is designed for BMW 3 Series F30 and F20 models with NBT/CIC. It leverages the vehicle’s OEM Bluetooth to deliver CarPlay and Android Auto experiences, with clear, echo-free calls.

The high-definition display and responsive touch panel bring new life to the dashboard. The 1920x720 resolution offers sharp text and vivid icons, and the capacitive screen is designed for easy one‑finger navigation. The unit also supports using the car’s original control knob to navigate CarPlay or Android Auto, and it can play music and video via USB for on‑the‑road entertainment.

What you gain in daily use

  • CarPlay for iOS 26 and wired/wireless Android Auto, with hands‑free calls through OEM Bluetooth and minimal echo.
  • HD 1920×720 display with a capacitive touch surface for quick, intuitive control.
  • Compatibility with the factory monitor display and steering wheel buttons for a seamless feel.
  • Fast access to reverse camera video in about two seconds when in reverse.
  • Important compatibility notes: not suitable for 4PIN CIC and 6PIN EVO systems; check your car’s configuration before purchasing.
  • Limitations: no GPS or 4G, no app installation, and offline video supports up to 720P.
  • Practical usage: long-press Menu to switch between the factory OEM interface and CarPlay; use the car’s knob for navigation.

In real world terms, this head unit can bring CarPlay‑friendly apps, familiar menus, and a more modern feel to the car’s interior without replacing major components. It’s designed to slot into compatible BMW 3 Series models and works with the original Bluetooth for calls, offering a cohesive driving tech upgrade rather than a replacement. Please reach out for compatibility confirmation if you are unsure about your model year or system type.
