Power and performance

• Power Delivery: The Thunderbolt 4 host port can deliver up to 96W to the host computer, keeping your laptop charged during intense work sessions. Three Thunderbolt 4 device ports supply up to 15W each for external drives and peripherals. A USB port provides up to 1.5A for bus-powered devices or small chargers.
• Note: Power delivery may vary under heavy load or when multiple peripherals are connected.

Display options

• Video support includes up to one 8K display at 60 Hz, or two 4K displays at 60 Hz, or two 5K displays at 60 Hz, depending on your host system.
• Each display pathway is compatible with native Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C displays that support DisplayPort 1.4. Actual capabilities depend on your computer’s specifications.

Ports and expansion

• Device Ports: 3 Thunderbolt 4 ports, plus USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports (up to 10 Gb/s) and a USB 2.0 port. Rounding out the panel are a Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) RJ-45 port, a 3.5mm audio input/output combo, and an SD 4.0 UHS-II card slot.
• Host Port: Thunderbolt 4 up to 40 Gb/s, with broad compatibility across Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, USB4, and USB-C devices. For best results, use the included certified Thunderbolt 4 cable and connect to a compatible host.

Compatibility and reliability

• The dock is compatible with Macs that have a Thunderbolt 3 or later port on macOS 11.1 Big Sur or newer, Windows PCs with Thunderbolt 4, and select non-Thunderbolt USB-C devices like certain Chromebooks and tablets.
