Overview

Designed for Nikon Z mirrorless bodies, the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S Renewed offers a flexible zoom that spans wide angles to mid tele while remaining compact and travel-friendly. A refreshed optical formula delivers sharp, vibrant images with faithful color and minimal aberrations across the frame.

Sharpness, exposure, and frame quality

The constant f/4 maximum aperture keeps exposure steady as you zoom from landscape to portrait. The larger Z mount translates into excellent definition from center to edge, so you rarely feel the urge to stop down for usable results.

  • Extreme sharpness across the entire frame with minimal distortion
  • Faithful color reproduction with reduced axial/lateral aberrations and flare
  • Close focus under 1 foot (11.8 inches) for macro-style compositions

Stability for stills and video

Pairing with Z cameras’ stabilization, this lens supports up to 5 stops of shake correction (pitch, yaw, roll, X and Y). When filming, electronic VR (e-VR) helps smooth handheld motion.

  • 5-axis Dual Detect VR for stills
  • e-VR provides steadier footage during video capture
  • Quiet, reliable autofocus for natural-looking results

Build, care, and travel-friendly design

Ruggedly sealed against dust and moisture around moving parts, with a Fluorine coating on the front element for easier cleaning. The lens is compact and lightweight, making it a practical companion for travel, street shooting, and everyday use.

As a renewed unit, it has been inspected and serviced to Nikon standards, offering reliable performance at an accessible price point for creators expanding a Z system setup.
