Real‑world usage scenarios

In a typical family home, you might stream 4K video in the living room, video conference in a home office, and game in bedrooms—while guests connect their devices. The MK72 is designed to help reduce buffering and maintain smooth performance as devices join and leave the network.

Setup, control, and ongoing care

Setup is designed to be approachable for everyday use. The Nighthawk app guides you through installation, lets you view connected devices, and helps you manage features like guest networks. Firmware updates arrive automatically to keep things current.

Notes and expansion

Designed to work with many ISPs up to 1 Gbps. For larger homes, adding MS70 satellites expands coverage by 1,500 sq ft per unit. The MK72 is not compatible with certain other mesh systems, so consider existing gear when planning a broader network.
