How many displays can I run and in what modes?

The HODO dock supports up to three external displays: two 4K HDMI ports and one VGA. On Windows systems with DisplayPort Alt Mode (DP1.4) or Thunderbolt, you can use extended desktop across three monitors or mirror displays. macOS generally supports mirror mode across additional screens; extended multi-monitor behavior depends on the Mac model and its DP capabilities.

What data speeds, ports and peripherals are supported?

This dock offers a mix of high-speed and legacy ports to cover modern peripherals and older devices. Three USB 3.1 ports (USB-A and USB-C) deliver up to 10Gbps for fast external SSDs and backups, while two USB 2.0 ports handle keyboards, mice and low-bandwidth accessories. How does power delivery and charging work with my laptop?

The dock accepts up to 100W input on the PD passthrough port to charge your laptop while other peripherals are active. For safety and internal limits, power delivered to the laptop is capped at 87W. Note that your laptop must support USB-C Power Delivery to receive charging; the dock itself does not include the external power adapter.

Will this work with my brand of laptop?

The HODO dock is broadly compatible with laptops that provide video output over USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4. It lists tested models from Dell, HP and Lenovo, but many other USB-C laptops with DisplayPort Alt Mode will work.
