Garmin Approach G20 Solar GPS Golf Handheld — Sun-Powered Battery & Big Readout

Overview

The Garmin Approach G20 Solar is a rugged, sunlight-ready GPS golf handheld designed to keep pace with your round. Its solar charging capability works in bright light, delivering extended runtimes in sunny conditions (up to about 75,000 lux), with solid performance for up to 36 rounds when sun is limited. The compact device features a 2.2" high-contrast display with large numbers, making it easy to read distances at a glance even while navigating a busy course.

On-Course Data at a Glance

Designed to simplify decision-making, the G20 Solar shows essential yardages and course features in a clear, readable format. You can quickly see distances to the front, middle, and back of the green, plus hazards and doglegs. The Green View display presents the shape of the green and supports manual pin placements so you can adjust to the day’s pin position.

• More than 43,000 preloaded courses worldwide with wireless updates keep data fresh.
• Clear yardages and hazard information help you plan each shot without fumbling for numbers.
• Green View with manual pin placements lets you tailor distance reads to your preferred pin position.

Smart Connectivity & Versatility

Pair the G20 Solar with the Garmin Golf smartphone app to access wind speed and direction, live scoring, and the Find My Garmin feature in case you ever leave the device behind. When used with compatible Approach CT10 sensors (sold separately), you can enable automatic shot tracking for a deeper data experience. The device can be mounted on your cart via a built-in magnet or kept on you with the included belt clip, giving you flexible, on-the-go access.

• Wind data and live scoring through the Garmin Golf app for more context on each hole.
• Approach CT10 compatibility for automatic shot tracking (sold separately).
• Two mounting options: secure cart magnetic mount or portable belt clip.

Whether you’re cruising the cart path or walking between holes, the G20 Solar is built to keep information accessible without intruding on your game.
