Overview

The Compustar 1WG15R-FM 1-Way Replacement Remote is designed for FMX-equipped vehicles that already use the 1WG15R-FM configuration. It is not a universal substitute and will not replace the 1WG15R-AM, even if the remotes look similar. Before purchasing, verify that your system is compatible and confirm the ANT-2WFMX antenna as the intended companion for this remote. By aligning the correct components, you ensure you’re working with the same signal setup your vehicle expects.

Key capabilities and what they mean for you

  • Compatibility with Compustar ANT-2WFMX antennas only
  • Range: Up to 3000 feet in favorable conditions
  • 1-Way FMX replacement remote control transmitter
  • Activates only functions already configured on your vehicle and system

Real-world use and everyday benefits

In real-life scenarios, this replacement remote can give you confident access from a distance, whether you’re navigating a crowded lot or stepping out for a quick errand. The 3000-foot range offers flexibility for open-air spaces, while the one-way FMX design focuses signals to the parts of your system that are already installed. By relying on your existing configuration, you can expect a familiar response pattern without introducing new wired changes.

Compatibility checklist and buying tips

  • Ensure you are replacing a Compustar Model 1WG15R-FM 2-Way Remote; otherwise this remote may not be compatible and will not work.
  • Verify compatibility with Compustar ANT-2WFMX antennas only.
  • Confirm that your vehicle’s system already has the functions you want activated by this remote.
  • DO NOT BUY if your system is not compatible.

What you get and how it fits with your setup

This replacement remote is intended to integrate with your existing Compustar installation and antenna setup. When paired correctly, it supports the same control signals your vehicle was configured to respond to, helping you maintain a seamless user experience. Real-world results can vary based on the original installation and environmental factors, so consider validating compatibility with your installer or vendor if you’re unsure.
