Both the IR Tx and Rx cables include adhesive backing for secure mounting so you can keep furniture and shelves uncluttered.

Range and placement play a big role in convenience. This extender supports up to a 15-foot IR signal range, so you can sit comfortably on the sofa and still control your gear. To minimize interference, place the extender away from Wi-Fi routers or CFL bulbs.
