The receiver uses the official V3.0 ExpressLRS protocol and runs on ESP8285/SX1280/SX1281 MCUs. It stores binding information after pairing, so re-binding is not required on subsequent uses unless you reconfigure binding phrases.

Binding with a compatible TX module requires the module to operate on V3.0 with no binding phrase set initially. If you reflash with a custom Binding Phrase, make sure the TX uses the same phrase to enable auto bind.
