Overview

Meet the Amcrest Dual-Lens 4K Outdoor PoE Camera, a renewed model designed to help you monitor outdoor spaces with clarity and confidence. Featuring two 4MP sensors, it delivers a wide panoramic view at 4K resolution (18:15fps in practice) and pairs strong night performance with smart analytics. Built for outdoor use, the rugged metal housing carries an IP67 weather rating to withstand seasonal conditions. Color night vision reaches up to 65 feet, revealing color details after dark for better scene interpretation.

Smart, adaptable detection

  • AI-powered perimeter protection and advanced motion detection focus on humans or vehicles, reducing unnecessary alerts.
  • Face detection helps you quickly identify familiar individuals during review, aiding faster decisions.

Storage, access, and backup

  • Local storage options include MicroSD up to 256GB, plus compatibility with Amcrest NVRs, NAS, SFTP, or FTP.
  • Optional Amcrest Cloud backup stores footage off-site for resilience and remote access via web or mobile app.

Security, connectivity, and setup

  • Secure SSL/HTTPS connections and regular firmware updates help maintain protection and compatibility with browsers.
  • Power over Ethernet (PoE) simplifies wiring; a PoE injector or switch is required but not included.

Designed for homes and small businesses, this camera emphasizes broad coverage, reliable night detail, and practical AI features. Placement, lighting, and network conditions influence results, but the dual-lens setup aims to provide a comprehensive view of outdoor zones without overstating guaranteed outcomes.
