Product details
Overview
The 5252AC from Silver Ticket is a ceiling mounted center channel designed to sit discreetly in your ceiling while delivering focused center-channel performance. With dual 5.25 inch mica polypropylene woofers and a silk dome tweeter, this speaker blends into your space while bringing dialog and vocal clarity to life in home theaters and multi-room setups.
Sound and Design Details
Two strong magnets and tuned voice coils emphasize efficiency, helping the speaker play loudly without harshness. The design emphasizes true audio accuracy, with a moisture resistant, durable enclosure and a flexible tilt system that lets you point sound where it matters most in your room.
- 2-way in-ceiling center channel with two 5.25 inch mica polypropylene woofers
- 20 mm silk dome tweeter with a 15-degree pivot for precise sound placement
- 63 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, 8 ohm impedance, 86 dB sensitivity
- Nominal 40 watts with 80 watts peak power handling
- Ceiling-only installation with reversible tilt for accurate directing of audio
- High-grade rubber edge for long-lasting audio fidelity
The 5252AC is designed to be loud yet clean, maintaining clarity across volume levels. A robust construction and moisture resistance add durability for spaces that see humidity or dampness, while the clean accent trim helps the unit blend into ceilings without professional refinishing.
Installation and Use
- Flip-lever quick-mount for secure ceiling attachment
- Includes a wall hole cut-out template and paint masks to simplify installation
- Ceiling-only placement ensures the speaker directs sound within the room rather than projecting outward
- Suitable for 5.1, 6.1, and 7.1 home theater configurations and versatile enough for stereo or multi-room audio
Note that this unit is intended for ceiling installation only. Please do not mount it on walls, as mounting locations affect audio direction and performance.
Sold individually, not as a pair, the 5252AC offers a flexible option for adding a dedicated center channel in a DIY home theater or distributed audio system. The combination of precision components and a tidy install makes it a practical choice for listeners who value clarity and placement accuracy.
